With decades of experience as a senior financial executive, corporate director, and former audit committee chair for publicly listed companies, Sam has the expertise to manage complex issues, safeguard taxpayers’ dollars, and ensure fiscal accountability in every decision.

Sam is also a passionate advocate for accessibility. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Richmond Centre for Disability and chairs its Finance Committee. In this role, he works closely with staff, volunteers, and residents to protect essential services, to ensure financial transparency and sustainability, and to create a community where every individual — regardless of ability — has a voice in shaping Richmond’s future.
