Stopping the CPH project is important to protect community safety and well-being, and while we are not against housing, it must be the right kind of housing that truly supports residents and neighbourhoods. 

We are deeply rooted in the Richmond community, working to bring neighbors together, amplify local voices, and advocate for a safer, more engaged, and united city.  

The essence of this memorial is to recognize that no one should lose their life for their beliefs, and that our society can only move forward by rejecting hate, choosing dialogue, and remembering each other’s humanity even in disagreement.   

The 2024 Richmond Family Day anti-drug rally, the largest self-organized gathering in the city’s history, united residents across communities to oppose unsafe housing and drug policies while calling for transparency, accountability, and genuine public consultation.
